Last week, I was so blessed by the third grade students at my school! (These are students that I would have had in my class this year if I hadn't resigned to leave for Brazil.) Two of them had the idea of having a bake sale during parent-teacher conferences to raise money for CLM. Rebecca and Payton (along with their younger brother, Logan and their parents) talked with other students and hung up flyers around the community to advertise. They raised almost $300! I was so impressed with their genuine concern for children that they will probably never meet.

Good old East Canton! That is so cool that a third grade student would think of that, and what a blessing they are! You should try and set up some sort of pen pal program with the students and your kids in Brazil. Kathi
