A Leap of Faith

Often we think a leap of faith is all action but sometimes the biggest steps of faith are not what we expect.

Abraham followed God's leading without knowing where it would take him. Hannah waited for God's perfect timing without knowing when. Mary expected a miracle without knowing why. Joseph trusted God's purpose without knowing why circumstances happened the way they did.

The last six months have been a huge test of our faith and we have experienced His perfect timing in new and wonderful ways. The unexpected "delay" with our visa forced us to seek God's face instead of His hand. We now see that He was much more concerned with the change within us than the changes around us. Thank you for your continued prayers, encouragement, and support as we take the next step of our journey...we should be in Brazil next month!

Proverbs 3:5,6 (The Message)"Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He's the one who will keep you on track."

Hey, I have very bad news! Our church's pastor (Pastor Rex) announced the WORST news EVER! He got an offer to be a senior pastor. But the HORRIBLE part is that the offer, if in Tennesee! And they will be moving there! I was crying! Cuz, all my life, he has been there, I NEVER expected him to leave! But, the loss is great, but somehow, we will all be OK. Well, I'll talk to you later!
