Our First Major Bike Accident

Fortunately, it is not as bad as it looks...but five stitches is bad enough. The kids were riding their new bikes on the sidewalk and someone cut in front of Carolaine. She successfully swerved to miss them and careened down a full flight of stairs onto the patio. She almost made it but when she hit the bottom, the bike flipped and she hit the metal railing with her nose! The cut was so deep that you could actually see the bone. The good news is that she is doing well and asked to ride bikes the very next day (and we now have one more distinguishing feature to tell her apart from her twin!) As we approach summer break, please pray fervently for the safety of all of our children.

Oh that poor little sweetheart! Do you remember Brit's bike accident when she was little? I can still remember you sitting over her and saying "how many fingers do I have up!" LOL
