We are back in Ohio and trying to get used to the 50 degree temperature drop! Saying goodbye to the kids at the swimming pool was a huge contrast to our arrival in snowy Canton. However, after 10 hours on a bus, 16 hours waiting in Sao Paulo, and another 12 hours in the air, we were just thankful to be home!
Travelling is always bittersweet for me because I hate goodbyes...especially when I don't know if all of our children will be waiting for us when we return. CLM life changes daily so when you leave on furlough, you really don't know what to expect. We are pretty sure that two of our little ones will be adopted before we return and the thought of not seeing them again breaks my heart. There are also many schedule changes for the team when others leave which affects the kids, as well. We ask for your continued prayers for the kids, missionaries, and workers while we are here, as well as for God to speak to us as we seek His face.
