Meet Maria's new horse, Sereno! (Although he threw Maria off his back the first time she rode him, his name actually means "calm" in Portuguese! :0) I've never seen Maria so happy. She runs to the barn as soon as she gets home from school and looks for any opportunity to return throughout the afternoon, in between lunch, chores, homework, and dinner. Thank you to those who generously gave to make this dream come true in her life.
