We have received a second opinion that confirms that Lucilene will need corrective back surgery for the curvature of her spine. Both doctors believe that this is the only option to prevent major health issues in the future with her lungs and heart. After one more appointment in Guarapuava next month, the surgery has been tentatively planned for January in Curitiba. Please pray for God to prepare Lucilene (as well as her brother and sister, Elielton and Janete) emotionally for the operation, as well as the intense therapy that she will need afterwards. May God guide the surgeon's hands and demonstrate His healing power.

We will be praying for her and everyone else! I know that will be a scary time, but I'm so glad she is being taken care of!!
